Our Mission

GreenTREE Yoga is committed to presenting yoga as a life-long tool for physical and emotional health. GreenTREE Yoga’s mission is to bring the healing and strengthening benefits of yoga to young people and adults of all abilities in a variety of settings, including schools, senior facilities, camps, clubs, and shelters.

Our Motivation

Health and safety issues continue to gain national attention. Examples include our increasingly overweight and obese populations, rising violence in the schools, and increased levels of stress and depression that lead to substance abuse. None of these issues can be solved by one person or one program. Yet yoga is a tool that can be incorporated and used to address various aspects of these issues.

About Our Program

GreenTREE Yoga offers a way to share the many benefits of yoga in a low-to-no cost program to use in schools, community organizations, and correctional facilities. The program strengthens any organization’s efforts to help people build physical and mental fitness, thus creating a healthier and more productive learning and healing environment.
